Hi! In answer to your last question... I don't know if we know each other or not. I'm new to livejournal and I don't really know who I know; furthermore I can't post properly or add friends because every time I log on and go into my account my computer logs me out again; all I have found I can do so far is post comments to other people. I found you from your recent comment to lordofthewheel, who happens to be my son. I posted one to him about 3 weeks ago, and he only just found out it was from me!
I met lordofthewheel at Worldcon in August, and I figured out yesterday he was our point of connection. I'll add you to my friendslist if you like--that is, if you don't mind my less-public posts full of weirdness.
At any rate, I hope your computer problems will clear themselves up soon.
